Cookie Dough Brownies

Ooo, Behave!   Cookie Dough <—- Meeeee love!  Even more love, when it is wedged in between a rich brownie layer and topped with a divine chocolate fudge ganache.

    😀 Cookie Dough Brownies!! <—- You complete ME!  😀 

I got this recipe from Spend with Pennies.  I saw it first on Pinterest and after that I was hooked.  I’m such a glutton for brownies.  Well, pretty  much any kind of brownies.  OK, well, pretty much these brownies for sure.

 How could I not be in love with these?  I’m a self-proclaimed “Chocoholic”. 

That’s what “we” do!  Love Chocolate! It’s called “Unconditional Chocolate Love”!  I’ve got it bad!

Cookie Dough Brownies

Brownies
  1. 1 box of brownie mix
Cookie Dough Layer
  1. 1/2 cup butter, softened
  2. 1/4 cup sugar
  3. 1/3 cup brown sugar
  4. 2 tablespoons almond milk (or whatever milk you want)
  5. 3/4 cup flour
  6. 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
Chocolate Ganache Topping
  1. 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  2. 2/3 cup heavy cream
  3. 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
  1. Prepare brownies according to box directions.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  3. Use non-stick spray or lightly grease or a 9x9 pan.
  4. Bake about 22-26 minutes or just until done (do not overbake). Remove and cool.
  5. Cookie Dough Layer
  6. Cream butter, white sugar and brown sugar with mixer on med-high. Add in almond milk. Add in flour a bit at a time until fully incorporated. Stir in chocolate chips with a spoon. Spread mixture over cooled brownies.
  7. Topping
  8. Bring heavy cream and butter just to a boil in microwave. (couple minutes). Pour over chocolate chips and let sit 4 minutes without stirring. Stir until completely combined.
  9. Pour over the cookie dough layer. Let cool at room temperature for 30 minutes (this keeps the topping shiny). Refrigerate to set. Enjoy!! These are some really decadent brownies!
Notes
  1. You might want to cut these in small squares, as they are very rich!
