You love each on their own, but when they intertwine each other, it’s just about one of the sexiest combinations ALIVE! But before I divulge the recipe, *all minds are enquiring* I have to ask you a ChocolaTess Trivia Question that crossed my mind while thinking about this fudge and I needed answers! So here it goes:
Have you ever wondered who the lucky dude was that created turtles and how they got the name?
Turtles brand candy were developed by Johnson’s Candy Company, DeMet’s in 1923 in 1918, after a salesman came into the kitchen’s dipping room and showed a candy to one of the dippers, who pointed out that the candy looked like a turtle. So, that explains that and history was made, and we have now have the most delicious gooey turtles in the world! Me likee!
This creamy, velvety chocolate confection is loaded with nutty pecans, gooey caramel, and dolloped with chocolate and sea salt. It’s such a delicious chocolate pleasure. Gifting is a great option for this fudge. This Salted Chocolate & Caramel Pecan Turtle Fudge is so sinful, it’s ridiculous! A little goes a long way. Here’s the recipe!
